Ohne Jespers Einsatz wäre die INSARAG nicht das, was sie ist: Eine starke Gemeinschaft, die weltweit bei Katastrophen und beim Aufbau von Rettungskapazitäten hilft.
Unser Anliegen, die Einführung von Light USAR Teams, fand bei ihm besondere Unterstützung und die Tatsache, dass diese nun offizieller Standard sind, ist sein Verdienst.
Jedes persönliche Treffen mit ihm war ein Besonderes und so trifft uns sein Tod umso schwerer. Sein Vorbild, dass man nicht nur hoffen darf, sondern auch verändern kann, war und ist unsere Motivation zur weiteren Teilnahme in der INSARAG-Familie.
Unsere Gedanken sind bei seiner Familie. Wir wünschen viel Kraft in diesen schwierigen Momenten. Seien Sie sicher: Bei uns wird er immer in schöner und guter Erinnerung bleiben.

Without Jesper’s commitment, INSARAG would not be what it is today: A strong community that helps in disasters around the world and in building rescue capacities.
Our goal, the introduction of Light USAR teams, found his support and the fact that these are now official standards is his achievement.
Every personal meeting with him was special and so his death hits us hard. His role model and mindset, that one must not only hope but also can drive change, was and is our motivation for further commitment to the INSARAG family.
Our thoughts are with his family. We wish them a lot of strength in these difficult moments. You can be sure: We will keep him in our heart and mind forever.
