In Armenia, there has been a serious explosion in a shopping center in the capital Yerevan. According to previous reports, at least 16 people were killed and more than 60 others were injured. Presumably, a warehouse with fireworks exploded. The three-story building collapsed.

Two of our members living in Armenia were directly requested and deployed with their two rescue dogs for biological search for buried victims and expert advice, thanks to an already well-established cooperation with the responsible ministry. The operation turned out to be very difficult due to persistent fire.

The former Soviet Republic of Armenia is located in the South Caucasus with borders with Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
